Who doesn’t love cupcakes? They’re sweet, fluffy, and just the right size to satisfy your sugar cravings. Molly’s Cupcakes recently opened a new location in Naperville, and it’s a must-visit when you’re in the mood for a treat!
The History of Molly’s Cupcakes
The founder of Molly’s Cupcakes once had a teacher named Molly who would bake the class cupcakes on their birthdays. The shop is named in her honor, and also in her honor, the owners donate a portion of their proceeds to local schools. They also donate cupcakes to school functions and fundraisers.
Inside Molly’s Cupcakes, chalkboards on the walls and books on the shelves give the space a school-like feel. You’ll feel like you’ve stepped back into childhood as you browse the many varieties of cupcakes in the glass case.
Molly’s has received rave reviews from Chicago Magazine and the Chicago Tribune.
Molly’s Cupcakes gives you two basic options: You can select one of their center-filled cupcakes, stuffed with tasty ingredients like butterscotch, creme brulee, peach cobbler, chocolate peanut butter, or Oreo cookies. Or you can create your own cupcake! Choose your size, cake flavor, frosting, and toppings. Red velvet with cream cheese frosting and Oreo topping is a favorite combination.
In addition to cupcakes, Molly’s Cupcakes serves homemade ice cream, pies, and bars. Their brownies are soft and chewy, and their molasses cookies have an old-fashioned flavor. Stop by the shop to see what they have, or call ahead to place an order. You can order cupcakes (in mini or regular size) by the dozen for your next party. They’re happy to mix and match flavors upon request!
Visit Molly’s Cupcakes at 30 West Jefferson Ave. in Naperville. They’re open daily, often until 8 or 10 pm. If you’re looking for a new apartment in the area, please contact us to learn more about our community at River Run at Naperville.
